I am a Garden Designer working in South East London. With many years of hands-on horticultural experience, I am truly passionate about plants. I believe that a garden should be a sanctuary where the delights of the natural world can be cherished and enjoyed and I aim to create beautiful spaces that make people feel happy. My designs are tailored to the individual needs of my clients so that their gardens fit in with their lifestyles and become an essential part of what makes a home a home.
I trained at the KLC School of Design where I received a Distinction in Garden Design.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
Initial Consultation
The first step is an initial complimentary consultation where we establish how you would like to use your outdoor space and the desired look and feel. Having seen your garden, I will then send you a proposal detailing my thoughts on next steps. For a full redesign of the garden, this is usually broken up into several stages:
Concept Design
I will commission a site and soil survey and design your garden according to your brief, I will then present my initial design ideas to you. This will include a Vectorworks Masterplan of the proposed design, sketches and a mood board showing the style of both the planting and hard landscaping materials.
Detailed Design
Once the design has been agreed, I then go into more detail with full construction drawings and specifications. I produce all of the information that is required to enable the garden to actually be built.
Construction
I am able to advise you on choosing a landscaper for the construction of your garden and work collaboratively with them.
Planting
I design planting plans for your garden and source good quality plants. To make sure that you continue to enjoy your garden for very many years, I can provide maintenance advice and ongoing support.
Smaller Projects
Every project is different and it may be that you would simply like some planting advice, or to refresh the planting in your garden. That's fine too.
